If you’re planning an October wedding, our invitation designing timeline will look like:

Designing in May

Assembly + mailing in July

If you’d prefer to have your invitations sent out more than three months before your wedding, we’ll work backwards to update each of the target dates. For day-of papers, we recommend starting the process 3 months from your wedding date. We take on a limited number of clients getting married each month, so it’s important to reach out as early as possible to grab a spot on our calendar.

All of our custom clients are invited to join us over Zoom for an initial 30-minute consultation. We’ll discuss your vision for the weekend, any strong preferences (likes and dislikes), and any little details or colors you’d like to highlight in your suite to help reflect your personality and set the tone for your celebration. We find it’s helpful for you to have your complimentary sample pack handy during the call, so we can reference the same paper, embellishments, and printing methods while chatting.

If you’re a wedding planner who is taking the reins on everything paper, please feel free to schedule a consultation call, and reach out if you need us to mail you a sample pack.

We suggest mailing Save The Dates 12 months before your wedding date if most guests will have to book hotel accommodations for your celebration.

After deciding on the must-have items to bring your dream invitation suite to life, an estimate will be sent along for review. Once finalized, you will receive a 50% deposit link to reserve your spot on our design calendar. Please note that deposits are non-refundable and are your agreement that you have read and accept our Terms of Service.

I N V I T A T I O N P R O O F I N G

Once your deposit has been placed, please send along wording, helpful photos, and any relevant inspiration when you have it ready, and we’ll start formatting your proofs! Once the initial proof has been presented to you, we’ll work together on revisions until your suite 100% print-ready.

*Once you think your suite is ready for print, allow a fresh set of eyes to look over all spelling and event details (such as ceremony time), as you are responsible for ensuring that all the details are correct!

F I N A L D E P O S I T D U E + P R I N T I N G

As soon as you’ve approved your order, you will submit final payment—this is required for the printing process to begin. I recommend having several sets of eyes review your final proof, as additional changes cannot be made once your approved order is in production. From there, all that’s left to do is relax and await the arrival of your invitations!

The custom design process can take anywhere from 3-14 months, depending on your flexibility. Once proofs are approved for print, digital printing takes 7-10 business days on average (with rush printing as an optional upgrade), and letterpress printing usually takes between 10-14 business days. We offer a limited number of slots for rush custom orders per month, please inquire for availability.

We offer full assembly of your invitation suites, including mailing your invitations directly to your guests. If you choose to assemble and mail your invitations yourself, your package will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail (with rush shipping as an optional upgrade).

We suggest mailing your invitations 9 months before your celebration if you did not use Save The Dates. If you mailed out Save The Dates and guests have had time to book their accommodations prior to receiving your invitation, 3-4 months is sufficient.
